Katherine Higgins Niccum, Paralegal
Twin Cities Legal Service, PLLC, has a valued and experienced paralegal assisting the attorney to effectively meet client needs. Katherine Higgins Niccum joined the firm in 2004. She previously worked as a paralegal at Robins, Kaplan, Miller & Ciresi; Parsinen, Kaplan, Rosberg & Gotlieb; and at Clark Consulting. Kathy is knowledgeable in family law and has excellent organization and interpersonal skills. She assists clients with gathering together documents and information, by responding to basic questions and by providing important information following a divorce regarding steps needed to finalize the separation of assets and change one’s name. Kathy often prepares a first draft of asset sheets and pleadings, thereby reducing clients’ costs. Clients frequently express appreciation for Kathy’s organization and responsiveness.
Law Clerks
Linda may have a second or third year law student working in her firm. These law students assist with filing and office organization, as well as preparing first drafts of pleadings and correspondence. Linda believes it is important to assist upcoming lawyers in learning the practice of family law, and values their input, work and perspective.
